9 months old... this went by WAY faster than the 9 months I carried him :) Here are a few things/milestones about our 9 month old boy.
-He's tried finger foods (little cooks carrots, bananas in "cheerio dust," tofu, noodles, and all the "baby" disolvable foods). The first time around (a few weeks ago) he would put food in his mouth, but just didn't like to swallow it. So after every meal we'd find a nice huge wad of food tucked in each cheek. We called it quits for a while and are starting again. He still "saves" the food in his cheeks like a chipmunk, but with enough coaxing and time he can get the food down.
-He's definitely crawling now. On hands and knees. He doesn't seem to motivated by too many toys. Jet could take or leave most of our "coaxing" objects ... except if he wants to be held or cuddled. Then he'll crawl across the house :)
-Pulling himself up on things. We've had a few "bonks" as he pulls himself up and then loses his balance and falls. Getting better though.
-Today we saw him intentionally wave at Daddy and me!!
-He's very sensitive to correction (at least right now). If you say "no" he gets upset and wants to be held... which we have no problem with :)
-Starting to show signs of being nervous with strangers. Until now he was fine with anyone holding him, now he's more comfortable with mom and dad.
-Still taking 2 naps and sleeping 12 hours at night.. woot woot! He eats breakfast, lunch, dinner, and has a bottle before bed.
Let me just take a minute to say how big a mother and father's love is. Wow. JT and I love this little boy more each day when we didn't think it was possible to love him more than we already do. He is an absolute delight. We have fun with him by playing "games," laughing, going on walks, throwing him in the air, and just being with him. He has changed our lives for the better and we couldn't feel more blessed. We love you Jet Thomas. To the moon and back :)
He reached for the sign, and when I said "no" he turned around but still had his hand reached up.

so glad to see this post, i am missing you guys a ton. i love hearing about his milestones and seeing pictures of him change. sad i'm missing all those cute fall outfits though. they are the cutest!

That's our "young man". Great pictures. Amazing how each month's posts depict how he changes in looks. (Gets better looking every month!!!). Thanks for sharing.
