Love our Floro's!

Many of you know our dear family-friend's the Floro's.  Chris and Holly have 5 great kids ages from (I think) 14-24 years old (in order from oldest to youngest; Katharine, Rebekah, Ben, Emily, Renee).  JT was Katharine, Ben, and Rebekah's youth group leader before I met him.  Once we started dating I was quickly introduced to this awesome family (and I introduced myself properly that summer by putting a large dent into their van :)  It would take novels to write about our relationship through the years but they have been the greatest of friends, more like family.  Chris is the chaplain that married us and Rebekah lived with JT and I for a year.  Chris serves in the Army so they packed things up last August and headed to Germany which is where their next assignment was.  It was a sad day to see them go but we know they'll be back in a few years to stay (hopefully!).

Rebekah Anne, one of my dearest friends and a fabulous girl is getting married July 28th.  Holly, Emily, and Renee came back several weeks early to help with preparations.  They arrived Saturday night.  Katharine and Ben are living at the house in Fayetteville and Rebekah drove up with Ben's girlfriend Kim for the weekend.  Izzy (Rebekah's groom) came also.  What an awesome clan!  JT had to work on the rental property anyways so we decided to stay with everyone for the weekend.  Here are pictures from our visit.  Jet was the center of attention much of the time and loved every minute.  It's great to see another family love your son so much.  Glad Holly, Emily, and Renee finally got to meet our precious boy and looking forward to a couple months of visiting with everyone and enjoying wedding festivities.

 Soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Markle!!

Hammock time with daddy

The first time "Aunt" Holly got to hold/meet Jet!

Katharine could make him smile so easily

"Aunt" Rebekah was a pro at feeding.  She was so good with him :)

Smiles for "Aunt" Holly!

Daddy worked on painting the cabinets a lot of the weekend.  Such a good man and hard worker.

The yougottajumpintoityourself hammock.  Was quite fun and I must admit, I conquered it.  Well, it wasn't graceful but I made it in there!

Love this one!
(Thanks for my shirt "Aunt" Rebekah!!)

Jet really liked the hammock.  I love you "Aunt" Rebekah and "Aunt" Renee!

Rebekah helped me give him a bath.  I really like this photo :)

sleepy :)

On Sunday we went to David's Bridal to find Emily and Renee matching junior bridesmaids dressed.  David's Bridal isn't exactly known for their customer service, but mission accomplished!  And we were smiling (some) of the time :)

The weekend is never complete without games!

We love you Floro Family!  Can't wait to get Chris here and sing around the fire pit.  Jet is so blessed to have such a strong love from his family, but he is extra blessed to have a forever family that loves him (and us) so much too.  See you all again soon!

That bath one is so sweet Summer. It's great quality and he looks like a little angel with his long eyelashes. What a beautiful boy!
